Official Statement from the Congressional Office of Iligan City Regarding Fake News Allegations
It has recently come to our attention that false and misleading information is circulating online, falsely claiming that our office issued a congratulatory statement regarding the alleged impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte. We categorically state that this is 𝐅𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒.
We strongly deny any association with this fabricated narrative. Neither the Congressional Office of Iligan City nor Congressman Celso Regencia has released, authorized, or endorsed any statement of such nature. We urge the public to be discerning and critical of the information they encounter, especially on social media, where disinformation can spread rapidly.
